Artist Metalsmith - Rocio Heredia

Rocio Heredia is an award-winning artist of the Mexican Contemporary generation specializing in traditional metalsmithing techniques of chasing and repousse in high relief to create intricate designs on silver, copper and gold. Ms. Heredia has been the recipient of numerous recognitions and awards for skillful and passionately realized themes. She has studied with Valentin Yotkov in New York, and was the first recipient of the Valentin Yotkov Studio Scholarship.
